This is great for a weeknight dinner. I give this a 8.8/10, just because I didn't make this one from scratch.
You’ll need: @traderjoes
- Frozen Vegetable Fried Rice
- Frozen Gyro Slices (beef + lamb), chopped
- Green Onion
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Liquid Aminos (or regular soy sauce)
Black sesame seeds, for garnish
- Eggs, optional (I highly recommend hard boiling a couple eggs and adding them in once plated for extra protein or adding them in to scramble 3-4 minutes before removing from heat!)
Heat up 1 tablespoon of EVOO in a large saucepan, add in Gyro Meat and cook on medium-high heat for about 10 minutes. Once that’s fully heated, turn heat down, push meat towards the side of your pan and add in your Fried Veggie Rice, cook for 10 minutes. Add a splash of Soy Sauce (Aminos) and mix well, (You can add your eggs here).
Once everything is heated, transfer to plate and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
