How to Achieve Perfectly Crispy Roasted Sweet Potatoes Every Time + Bonus Sauce Recipe

Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 45 minutes Total Cook time: 50 minutes


*LOW FOODMAP DIET RECIPE*


4 cups peeled and cubed sweet potatoes (1 inch cubes)

1 tablespoon Maldon Salt

1 tablespoon Garlic + Chive Powder (GOURMEND)

1 tablespoon Garlic Scape Powder (GOURMEND)

2-3 tablespoons beef tallow (or duck tallow)


Preheat oven to 425 F. In a small bowl (or straight on your baking sheet) combine cubed sweet potatoes, tallow, salt and seasonings listed above and coat evenly.

Take baking sheet to the oven and bake for 18 minutes, then flip them over with tongs or spatula and bake for 15 more minutes or until golden brown and crispy!


This is such a simple recipe, it is great for salads, veggies and I actually use this as a sauce for any and everything. Specially but not limited to chicken :P Every. Single, time. Sorry not sorry.


BONUS RECIPE


Fresh Greens Dressing:


1/2 cup greek yogurt (you can sub for kefir for extra gut protection)

2 tablespoons Green onion and chive powder (GOURMEND)

1 tablespoon Maldon salt

1/2 bunch cilantro

1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil OR 1/4 cup bone broth


Place all ingredients in the blender, and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
